Discover the Healing Properties of Magnetic Hematite
Magnetic Healing for Arthritis - This Bracelet Helps Pain!

A large sampling of people - from arthritis sufferers to pro athletes - tout the benefits of an arthritis bracelet. In fact, in 2000 fans of the arthritis and magnetic bracelet spent more than $500 million on the products some experts believe might increase the temperature of the area of the body being treated.

Although no one is sure why a magnet works, some suspect blood that contains iron might act as a conductor of magnetic energy. Offered here are artistic bracelets made from the natural magnetic stones hematite. These stylish magnetic arthritis bracelets effectively soothe pain without turning the wrist green, like copper arthritis bracelets do. You can even wear these fashionable magnetic hematite bracelets to upscale events.

Eliminate Arthritis Pain Immediately

The history of the arthritis bracelet goes all the way back to the Civil War era, when magnetic devices such as hairbrushes, insoles, magnetic salves became popular. Claiming magnetic fields existed in the organs and blood, healers marketed magnets to restore magnetic fields that, when depleted they claimed, could cause a variety of conditions and diseases.

In modern times, people market magnets and an arthritis bracelet, claiming they increase the flow of blood and, therefore, increase the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to tissues. An arthritis bracelet can be used for a wide range of conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, stress, circulatory and respiratory problems and high blood pressure.

In response to critics who questioned methodologies used in past studies, British researchers conducted their own study of magnets to find out whether commercially available magnetic bracelets help relieve the pain from arthritis in the knee and hip. As part of their two-year study, the researchers studied 194 osteoarthritis patients between the ages of 45 and 80 who suffered with pain in the hip and knee areas. Researchers did not include patients who had previously tried magnetic jewelry for pain relief. After being divided into three groups, the study participants were not told which kind of arthritis bracelet they would be wearing. A third of the patients received a bracelet with magnets set in a way to cause a standard-strength magnetic field across the wrist. A second set of patients in the study received an arthritis bracelet with nonmagnetic steel washers. The final group received an arthritis bracelet with very weak magnets. Then, without ceasing any usual pain management treatment, the arthritis bracelet study group participants helped researchers determine how electromagnets might affect the production of white blood cells involved in fighting infection and inflammation.

Researchers found strong magnets did have a positive effect on their subjects. In fact, the average pain scores were 1.3 points lower in the group with the standard magnetic bracelets than the dummy bracelets.

Some critics say the participants may have been helped through a placebo effect as they might have noticed during the trial whether or not they were wearing the magnetized arthritis bracelet, which had magnetic fields between 170 and 200 mTesla in strength.

If you are suffering with arthritis, you might want to try an arthritis bracelet because so few adverse affects have been reported. Also, magnetic arthritis bracelets are very affordable.

According to one survey conducted in 1999, more than 18 percent of people with fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis had tried magnets or copper bracelets. Scientists and lay people have a wide range of theories regarding the use of magnets and an arthritis bracelet to treat pain.

If you use an arthritis bracelet, consider some of the theories posed by scientists and manufacturers who believe static magnets might change how cells function. According to some experts, pulsed electromagnets might change the brain's perception of pain and weak pulsed electromagnets might affect how nerve cells respond to pain. Also, some believe magnets might alter or restore the equilibrium between cell death and growth.
